Seni Tiga Open Call 2021
SENI TIGA LAB
Seni Tiga (three art forms in Bahasa Malaysia) is created in 2019 as a platform for multidisciplinary collaborative performance. The three art forms are movement, visual and sound.
In 2021, instead of developing live performances, the platform will continue in the form of a laboratory - a collaboration that is more process-driven than product-oriented - to stimulate, nourish and elevate creative practice of participants through mutual artistic exchange with a mentor.

This is an open call for those interested in participating as:
1. front stage members
(movement / sound / visual based persons or collectives)
You are welcome to apply if you:
reside in the Klang Valley
are open-minded and want to collaborate with others
have DIY spirit
can communicate in simple English
comfortable to work online and on-site whenever possible
have access to a reliable internet connection
2. backbone members
(manpower to help materialise the project)
You are more than welcome to hop on board earlier as a volunteer, intern, apprentice or researcher too! We would definitely need help in the area of publicity and documentation (graphic design, writing, video making, etc.).

15 - 29 June: Open call for front stage members
3 July: Virtual meet-up with front stage members
10 July: Confirmation of front stage members
15 June - 23 July: Open call for backbone members
24 July: Virtual meet-up with backbone members
25 July: Confirmation of backbone members
1 August: Commencement of Unit B
31 October: Cut off date for deliverables
KongsiKL and Kongsi Petak are interested in facilitating creation of interdisciplinary works inside and outside of the warehouse. Seni Tiga is created for that purpose and we hope to continue that spirit, at the same time participate in the search of new ways to create, present and consume arts.
